WINTER ARTS WORKSHOPS

7 weeks of classes start the week of January 5th and will conclude the week of February 16th.

Each class will conclude with a performance or recognition at the Winter Arts Showcase.

The Winter Arts Showcase will be on Saturday, February 21st to end the season.

Each class is $135 per student.

  • Tuesdays 4:00pm

    Musical Theater 101

    Ages 6 - 8 : Learn the fundamentals of musical theater while learning a fun performance to show your family and friends!

    Musical Theater Dance

    Ages 9 - 13 : Review your favorite musical theater pieces like "Wicked", "Lion King" and "Aladdin" as we grace the Broadway stage with singing and movement!

    Worship Team

    Ages 5 - 16 : Students will have the chance to start or grow in their worship leading skills. A focus on the heart of worship and leadership skills in a choir setting. We will also have a few key musicians that take lessons and are comfortable playing chords and playing in a group setting.

    Bugs & Crafts

    Ages 10 - 16 : Discover the beauty of insects with this close encounters and creative expression class! We'll view and learn about bugs like hissing cockroaches and rainbow stag beetles while creating awesome crafts like clay beetle sculptures and colorful millipede keychains!

    Pop Star! *5:00-6:00PM*

    Ages 8 - 13 : Learn some of your favorite pop pieces like "Golden" and "Count On Me". Think you have what it takes to be the next great pop star? Develop confidence and stage presence as you rise to the top!

    Ukulele *6:00-7:00PM*

    Ages 10 - 16 : An excellent class for beginners and intermediate performers! This class accommodates beginning students and more advanced musicians. Students are expected to provide their own ukulele (can be purchased online for about $25).

    Hands-On Art Skills

    Ages 6 - 12 : Expression through art! We’ll be using different applications of art through painting, crafts, and learning new art skills!

  • Thursdays 5:15pm

    American Sign Language

    Ages 6 - 16 : Students will get an introduction to American Sign Language be taught principles including the alphabet, hand-shapes, palm orientation, movement, location and expression.
